Alongside my art work I have extensive professional experience in advocating for the rights of women, children, and young people. I specialise in children and young people’s policy and participation work, with a focus on realising the rights of children and young people affected by gender-based violence. I have worked with Scottish Women’s Aid, Children in Scotland, and Rape Crisis Scotland in a number of professional roles from 2016 to the present day.
